Welcome to Wakefield: Population 1,534 eccentric People and one exasperated reporter
T.D. Duff is the only reporter at the only newspaper in the postage stamp town of Wakefield. When he inherits the paper, he has to deal with the eccentric residents of Augusta County all by himself. Some of the people he encounters include Clarence (with one syllable), owner of a potato that looks like a certain T.V. star, and Nosh Jones, who is locked in mortal combat with Roger Shepherd for the title of Most Famousest Snake Hunter in Augusta County. The one who wins gets all the church business.
